A few weeks back, Hope's mom contacted me about taking her daughters photogenic pictures for the Miss Redwater pageant. I was thrilled! I love portrait photos more than any other type, and I love pageants. Oh, and I love Redwater Dragons! We got to talking and I told her mom, Sarah, that in the past I have helped coach girls in pageants and if she needed help I would be willing to help. She agreed, and we set a date for both pictures and practice.
The day finally came that I got to meet Miss Hope. We met on a cold rainy day at a local church, and from the start I knew Hope had what it took to win a pageant. She was energetic, beautiful, humble, and I could tell she was a brilliant young lady! We worked for about 2 hours choreographing her routines and talking wardrobe. Hope took notes and I knew right then, this girl was serious! She wanted to win, and she was going to do just that.
The day came for the Miss Redwater pageant, and I was so sad as her pageant coach because I was unable to make the event. Yet, I knew she would do great! A few hours later I got a message from her mom, along with a picture. "She WON!" Sarah said. I was jumping up for joy in my kitchen, like I had just won the pageant! My girl had won, and I so super excited for her.
So friends, family, and clients meet the new Miss Redwater 2018,Hope Estes! Congratulations Hope, you did a great job!
